About Me
I have been working in the care industry for 15 years offering support to clients with varying difficulties. I have gained a lot of experience in these years working with diverse clients who have presented, amongst other things, with stress, anxiety, anger, low self esteem, relationship problems, and addictions.I am a qualified counsellor and registered with the BACP.

Counselling Approach
My training is based on the person centred approach but as I have discovered, one size does not necessarily fit all, so I tailor my approach to fit the client and what their needs are.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work to their Code of Ethics.
Client confidentiality and the need for the client to feel safe and develop trust are key to being able to work together.
As part of my ongoing development I have supervision and I also attend workshops to enhance my knowledge and skills.

I am based in Berkhamsted but I also work from Amersham where I conduct my sessions.You are welcome to either phone or email me or complete the contact form, I offer a free 30 minute assessment, this is just a quick meeting to see if I can offer the help you are looking for and for you to see if you are happy to work with me.
Some more information
I realise that a first counselling session with a counsellor can be quite daunting. I am very happy to talk to you and reassure you prior to the initial session.
My sessions are very much client-led, we work together with whatever you wish to address on the day whether this is something from the present, past or future.
